The Children's Center of the Stanford Community (CCSC)—one of the largest parent cooperatives in the state of California—currently serves more than 125 families of Stanford University faculty, staff, and students. CCSC has nine classrooms and offers part- and full-time early childhood learning programs for children from 8 weeks to five years old. Accredited by the NAEYC, the play-based educational philosophy of the Center is grounded in the belief that children are competent, curious, and resourceful learners. Founded by Stanford graduate students in 1969, CCSC is the only nonprofit, cooperative childcare Center on the Stanford University campus.
CCSC is hiring a new Executive Director. We are seeking a collaborative leader with a passion for early childhood education. See more details here.
Stanford has committed $15MM to build us a new school, opening in Winter 2018, customized to our needs and teaching philosophies. The building will include six additional classrooms to help us accommodate more children from our waitlist (the longest on campus). Find more info here.
